Those wild and wacky skeletons took over downtown Manitou Springs again in the popular October event presented by the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Manitou Springs Creative District.
Judges Kathy Minch, Sallie Knox Hall and Annie Schmitt scored the displays based on creativity, best theme and overall appearance. Their selections were:
First place — Brazen Bee, $250 gift card;
Second place — Manitou Springs Real Estate, $100 gift card; and
Third place — Mountains West, a $50 gift card.
In addition, more than 360 digital and write-in votes were cast in the People’s Choice contest. Kill Your Culture won the community’s hearts and a $100 gift card.
