The Manitou Springs Public Works department will extend the June 15 closure on El Paso Boulevard from Garden of the Gods Place to the Hiawatha Gardens parking lot to minimize future construction impacts and road closures on El Paso Boulevard. The closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day.
This extended closure will allow workers to fix a small portion of sinking roadway and repair a malfunctioning fire hydrant simultaneously.
Residents of the affected stretch of roadway will still have access to their homes throughout the construction period. Others should avoid El Paso Boulevard during construction on June 15.
