The Manitou Springs Fire Department will be hosting a town hall meeting titled “Living With Wildfire” at 6 p.m., June 22, at the Manitou Springs Middle School’s media center, 415 El Monte Place,
The town hall is to encourage Manitou Springs residents to talk about wildfire in our community and to learn what they can do to prepare for wildfire. This includes a discussion around a wildfire action plan and knowing when and how to evacuate.
A presentation by experts from the Colorado Springs Fire Department’s Community Education and Outreach Team as well by personnel with the Manitou Springs Fire Department are scheduled.
