Construction begun on Creek Walk Trail project
Creek Walk Trail construction has begun, resulting in a 10-foot-wide multi-use concrete
trail with grade and slope improvements. The construction started the week of April 24 and will
affect the trail area from the Manitou Springs Pool & Fitness Center, 202 Manitou Ave., to
Mayfair Avenue.
During the construction period, the affected trail area is closed and users are being
detoured onto Manitou Avenue to allow the contractor enough room to efficiently and safely
work. This project is part of the Creek Walk Trail Master Plan; construction is expected to take
12 weeks to complete.
