To allow for runners participating in the Pikes Peak Marathon and Ascent to remain safe from vehicular traffic, various detours and closures will be in place on Saturday, Sept. 17, and Sunday, Sept. 18.
Saturday, Sept. 17
4:30-9 a.m.: Road closures on Ruxton Avenue and Manitou Avenue (and neighboring side streets) from Old Man’s Trail to Ruxton Avenue.
Sunday, Sept. 18
5-9 a.m.: Road closure on Manitou Avenue from Old Man’s Trail to Pawnee Avenue.
6:30-7:40 a.m.: Road closures on Ruxton Avenue and Manitou Avenue (and neighboring side streets) from Old Man’s Trail to Ruxton Avenue.
Please avoid these areas during these timeframes and take different routes to your location.
