Photographer Brenda Biondo created these murals that have been installed at the Mountain Metro bus shelters on Old Man’s Trail. She also wrote about the animals for signs that accompany the art. Poster versions are for sale at www.artanimalsadvocacy.com; part of the proceeds go to wildlife and conservation nonprofits.
The project was funded by the Manitou Arts, Culture, and Heritage initiative. Biondo’s mural paying homage to pollinators is displayed on the side of the building at 727 and 729 Manitou Ave.
