The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office continues to actively investigate a shooting that occurred Nov. 6 along Old Stage Road in unincorporated El Paso County. A juvenile was shot and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect’s vehicle is a small gray or silver sedan that appears to be missing its front driver side hubcap. It was captured on surveillance speeding away from the scene approximately 30 seconds after the shooting.
“We continue to believe this was an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the community,” the press release stated.
Previous reports mentioned that this shooting may have occurred near Cheyenne Mountain State Park due to inaccurate information El Paso County Dispatch initially received. Further investigation determined the incident was isolated to the 2300 block of Old Stage Road.
