Twelve volunteers participated in the 11th annual Waldo Canyon tree-planting on June 10. The Pikes Peak Justice Center and the Coalition for the Upper South Platte sponsored the event. Before a fast-moving thunderstorm arrived, the group was able to plant 400 seedlings to replace trees burned in 2012.
