Manitou’s secure ballot box is on the east side of City Hall.

All active, registered voters should have received mailed ballots for the June 28 Primary Election. If not, contact the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 575-VOTE (8683) or elections@elpasoco.com.

Unaffiliated voters are eligible to vote in this election. If you are registered to vote as unaffiliated, you will receive a mail ballot packet with both a Democratic Party ballot and a Republican Party ballot.

Unaffiliated voters may use only one ballot. Complete instructions will be provided with your mail ballot packet. Information: clerkandrecorder.elpasoco.com/elections/unaffiliated-voters.

Voters also have the option to vote at a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC). Manitou Springs’ location is inside City Hall, 606 Manitou Ave. It will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, June 27, and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28.

To receive your ballot in the mail, you must register to vote, or update your address/registration if necessary, within eight days of the election at www.govotecolorado.gov. For the 2022 Primary Election, that deadline is Monday, June 20.

After the deadline, you can still register to vote and update your registration and receive your ballot. Both may be done at one of the VSPCs through Election Day.

June 20 is the recommended last day to return your ballot by mail. Postmarks do not count. Secure ballot drop boxes are open 24/7 throughout the county to return your ballot. Manitou’s ballot box is east of City Hall.

Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28. Postmarks do not count.

The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office offers BallotTrax, which allows voters to track their ballot’s status. To sign up: colorado.ballottrax.net.
