“Remembering Buck” will celebrate the life of Richard “Buck” Buchanan, Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church (730 N. Tejon St.) A vibrant Manitou neighbor, Buck brightened many worlds as activist, teacher, singer, actor, chess master, hiking enthusiast and mathematician. Akin to his inclusive spirit, everyone is welcome. A time for informal sharing of stories and memories will be offered during the gathering.
