Join the Pikes Peak Trail CATS and Manitou Springs School District 14 to build a new trail from the high school to the Intemann Trail. It will encompass 100 feet of stonework over 1,000 feet of basic trail that’s an average 8 percent grade.
The next workday is 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 8, and volunteers get a Mustang Way T-shirt.
All volunteers are welcome, but children must be with an adult. Pikes Peak Trail CATS will provide tools, crew leaders and expertise.
Future workdays are scheduled for Saturdays, Aug. 12, and Sept. 16, with a backup day on Oct. 21 if needed.
