The Manitou Springs boys soccer team dropped its lone game from last week, losing to STRIVE Prep 3-0 on Thursday, Sept. 9.
The Mustangs (2-3) have now dropped three straight games and havenāt scored a goal since the opening weekend of the season when they got wins over Bayfield and Durango.
āScoring goals is hard,ā coach Ben Mack stated more than a week ago.
Thatās been the case lately for the Mustangs, but theyāre hoping the dam breaks this week.
They travel to Thomas MacLaren on Thursday, Sept. 16, with the hope of snapping their losing streak. It will be a tough test as the Highlanders advanced to last springās Class 2A state championship game, where they lost to Crested Butte.
