In the final tune-up before regionals, the Manitou Springs girls golf team finished third at the Rye Invite at Hollydot Golf Course on May 13.
Tyler Parratt paced the Mustangs, shooting a 20-over-par 91 to finish sixth. Madison Sharon shot a 94 and finished in a tie for ninth place.
Lily Kocks finished her day with a 106 and Liz Johnson rounded out the team’s effort with a 110. All four Mustangs finished in the top 35 of the 68-player field.
On Monday, May 23, the golfers head back to Hollydot, where they’ll attempt to qualify for the Class 3A girls golf state tournament at the Broadlands in Broomfield.
