NOVEMBER 12

MSPD officers responded to a fraud where credit card information was reportedly stolen. Upon investigation, there is no evidence that a suspect stole credit card information within Manitou Springs jurisdiction.

MSPD officers responded to a DV burglary in progress in the 000 block of Manitou Avenue. The suspect fled on foot and was unable to be located by officers. A warrant will be issued for his arrest.

The Manitou Crisis Response team responded to a suicidal check the welfare in the downtown area of Manitou Springs. Following investigation, a juvenile was placed on a mental health hold and was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

MSPD Officer took a report of stolen items in the 700 block of Manitou Ave. Suspect description and information gathered along with video footage. Investigation is ongoing.

 

NOVEMBER 14

Officers responded to a verbal disturbance in the 600 block of Ruxton Avenue. One party involved was cited for harassment.

An unknown subject(s) left items at a residence on Stover Lane with unknown intentions. An investigation is ongoing.

 

NOVEMBER 15

Officers contacted an individual passed out behind the wheel of a running truck in the 3300 block of W. Colorado Avenue. The individual was subsequently arrested for DUI and possession of controlled substances.

 

NOVEMBER 16

Officers responded to a possible DV incident on W. Highway 24. The driver was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI. The domestic incident was investigated by EPSO.

 

NOVEMBER 17

Officers stopped a vehicle with expired plates near 26th Street and W. Pikes Peak Avenue. Officers conducted a consent search of the vehicle and located suspected drugs and paraphernalia. A 35-year-old Manitou Springs man was issued a summons and released.

Officers stopped a vehicle driving with no headlights on in the 300 block of Manitou Avenue. The driver was found to have a warrant and arrested. He was transported to CJC without incident.

MSPD officers, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for obstructed license plate near the intersection of Manitou Avenue and Garden of the Gods. The driver had two warrants out of Denver County. Driver issued two PR bonds for warrants and issued citation for the obstructed license plate.

MSPD officers responded to a check the welfare on El Paso Boulevard. Upon investigation into the welfare of the subject, they were found deceased. There was nothing suspicious of note at the time of incident.
