NOVEMBER 6

An Apple watch was turned in to the Manitou Springs Police Department. 

MSPD Officers were dispatched to a residence on El Paso Blvd for a Domestic Dispute. Officers conducted an investigation and determined no probable cause for arrest.

 

NOVEMBER 7

The Manitou Springs Police responded to a check-the-welfare of a female party. The female party was found to be having a mental health emergency and was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.

 

NOVEMBER 8

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a defective headlight and apparent damage indicating a possible traffic accident near the 31st St. and W. Pikes Peak Ave. The vehicle fled the area. An investigation is ongoing.

Officers were advised that several vehicles that were unlocked in the 300-400 block of Manitou Ave. had been rummaged through in the early morning hours. Investigation is ongoing.

 

NOVEMBER 10

Officers stopped a car for speeding. The driver, under 21, was subsequently arrested for DUI and possession of a gun and controlled substance.

Officers checked on a subject getting in and out of a vehicle near Ridge Road and W. Colorado Ave. Officers arrested a Colorado Springs woman for an outstanding arrest warrant and also charged her with assaulting officers. The woman was transported to the El Paso County Jail.

MSPD Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at El Paso and Beckers for Failure to use Turn Signal. An investigation found the driver to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The driver was summonsed and released on scene.
