At 0750 hours, Manitou Springs Police officers stopped a vehicle in the 3600 block of West Colorado Avenue after following it out of Manitou. They discovered the driver had an out-of-county misdemeanor warrant and cited the suspect with multiple traffic offenses.
NOV. 24
A roll-over single-vehicle traffic accident occurred on Serpentine Drive. No one was injured.
MSPD and the Manitou Springs Fire Department responded to a non-injury traffic accident on U.S. Highway 24 near Cave of the Winds Road. Only one vehicle was involved in the accident, which was caused by recent snowfall on the highway.
NOV. 25
A vehicle was reported to be blocking traffic on Highway 24. Officers contacted a 27-year-old Denver resident and found that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
MSPD responded to a report from the 100 block of Manitou Avenue, where a man was causing a disturbance. While he was being escorted from the property, he lunged toward a wall. Eventually, he was escorted away.
Property was abandoned in the 100 block of Manitou Avenue. It was slated for destruction.
