As we celebrate the holiday season, I want to thank you for all that you do to make Manitou Springs a special place. Whether you’re a new resident, a longtime resident, a business owner, an employee or a community partner, together, you are all part of what makes Manitou Springs amazing.
Serving Manitou Springs has been rewarding and I am honored to be your city administrator.
There are many things that I love about Manitou Springs.
I love that we are a city where you know your neighbor and everyone takes the time to say hi. That’s why Manitou is ranked as the nation’s third-friendliest city.
I also love that, when someone is in need, everyone comes together to help out. This is a city of pride and acceptance, a city where one is welcomed with open arms and great conversations take place.
I am fortunate to serve alongside a talented team. We are always striving to serve. Sometimes we win, sometimes we learn, and yet we are always trying our best!
Manitou Springs is a community that cares, and I would like to take this opportunity to challenge our residents and businesses to lead by example this holiday season. Extend a helping hand and smile to a neighbor, exchange kindness and consider ways to give back.
This has been an amazing year, but the best is yet to come! The city of Manitou Springs has great opportunities before us, and along with the leadership of City Council and the councilors’ foresight, the future is very bright.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
