The Feast of Saint Arnold, Colorado’s only family-friendly beer festival, is as much about philanthropy as it is fun, with all event proceeds going directly to charity. This year’s event was a record-breaker, and the Feast of Saint Arnold volunteer committee is excited to present $40,000 to Westside CARES, the feast’s primary beneficiary.
Chapel of Our Saviour Episcopal Church in Colorado Springs, one of Westside CARES’ 23 member faith communities, sponsors and hosts the festival.
The presentation of FOSA proceeds this year represents the largest-ever single donation from a member faith community.
Feast of Saint Arnold Committee members and Westside CARES’ staff and board of directors will participate in a celebratory check presentation ceremony. It will take place 4:30-4:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at 2808 W. Colorado Ave.
Westside CARES serves more than 20,000 people experiencing poverty each year.
The Feast of Saint Arnold partnership and support provides a solid foundation from which Westside CARES launches its programs to enhance home, health and hope for its neighbors.
