Former Manitou Springs High school teacher Matthew Barton, accused of sexual assault on a student, is scheduled to appear at a hearing on Wednesday, Sept. 28. A pre-trial readiness conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 4, and his jury trial is set to start Monday, Oct. 10, according to the Colorado Judicial Branch’s online docket.
