After the high level of participation in the recent Chipper Days, the city has large amounts of wood chips. They are free for anybody who wants them. There is no limit on how much you can take.
They can be found at Higginbotham Flats, in the dirt lot next to the Storage Qwest at the Serpentine Drive and U.S. Highway 24 intersection.
