Late summer fun at Catamount Falls
Team Rubicon
Team Rubicon – a veteran-led humanitarian organization built to serve global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises – helped with residential fire mitigation efforts late August in Green Mountain Falls. The team, 20-30 strong, were hosted by Church in the Wildwood during their stay, where they slept on cots, gathered and had their meals. For more information, go to teamrubiconusa.org.
John Bell and Don Walker, both members of the GMF Board of Trustees and the Friends of Ute Pass Trails, joined the Rubicon team. The last seasonal workdays for the Friends are Sunday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 28. To volunteer and more information, go to friendsofutepass.org.
