Do you love great live music? And do you also love your local newspaper, the Pikes Peak Bulletin? From now through Sept. 20, support the Bulletin by making a donation – the top three donors will win a pair of regular admission tickets to Blues on the Mesa!

The event is on Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Gold Hill Mesa (142 S. Raven Mine Drive).

Performers include Tommy Castro & the Painkillers, Davina & the Vagabonds, Eef & the Blue Express, Rex Peoples & X Factr and the Johnny O. Band.

Food options at the event include Tossed, which does salads and other healthy offerings, High Grade Foods with authentic Jamaican and American favorites, hotdogs by Stump Dogs and filling, savory fare from Papa Bear’z Grill.

Libations will be available for those 21+ from local favorites including Whistle Pig Brewing, OCC Brewing and Red Leg Brewing Company.

Tickets can be purchased from the Blues on the Mesa website for $50 regular admission and $100 for VIP (21+ only). VIP ticket holders have access to the VIP party after the main event with catered food, adult beverages and the opportunity to meet artists up close.

Tickets will be available for pick up onsite the day of the event; they won’t be mailed or otherwise distributed ahead of time.
