Manitou Springs’ inaugural Battle of the Bands winner was announced late Sunday, May 1. Nearly 500 votes were tallied, and Barefoot Family Caravan took the lead by a five-vote margin over All Aboard to take first place.
Competitors Quite Frankly, All Aboard, Barefoot Family Caravan, Big Sky, Family Elephant and the Eternal Temples (E.T.’s) performed throughout April at Armadillo Ranch, 962 Manitou Ave.
Barefoot Family Caravan will play a Saturday night set at Meadowgrass Music Festival, May 28, 2022, grab a committed gig at the Appaloosa Grill in Denver, $1,000 solar travel cooler from Total Energy Solutions, prize package from Moondog Music Shop and a trip to Escape Manitou Springs. Second place will win a night on a Local Motive party bus crawl for each member of the band, plus one guest.
