The city has been awarded $8,436 through the state’s Lifeguard Training Initiative grant program. All of these funds will go directly toward training lifeguards at the Pool & Fitness Center.
Also, the pool is seeking lifeguards. Starting pay is $16 an hour, and American Red Cross lifeguard training is provided, as are a shirt and fanny pack/mask. Schedules are flexible. Apply here.
