Colorado Springs resident Bob Salem is looking to make history by being the first person in the 21st century to push a peanut up Pikes Peak with a contraption taped to his nose. He began this legendary journey at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 9.
The city of Manitou Springs has launched a webpage, www.manitouspringsgov.com/735/Peanut-Pusher-Progress, to help track his journey to the top. It will be updated at least once a day to show where Salem is on Barr Trail.
