Wintry weather forecast postpones Manitou’s spring wine walk for 14 days

The Spring Wine Walk that was scheduled for Thursday, March 10, has been postponed for two weeks because of the inclement weather.

Attendees who have already purchased tickets can use their tickets for the new date, or have refunds issued. Limited tickets are still available for purchase online through Eventbrite or at www.tinyurl.com/springwinewalk22.

The event will take place 5-9 p.m. Thursday, March 24.

In the spirit of civility from Cabernet to Chardonnay, three of Manitou’s upscale wine bars and wineries will serve a variety of small pours from Colorado and both Old and New Worlds, including wines from Europe and Australia.

D’Vine Wines, Swirl Wine Bar and The Mona Lisa will offer three small pours (2 to 4 ounces) of their premium red and white wines, along with “lite” bites.

Attendees also will learn from the wine makers, sommeliers and wine purveyors about the wines, as well as a bit of the history of the various regions and grapes.

A walking map will be emailed the day before the event to all Eventbrite ticket purchasers. Attendees may check in 5-7:30 p.m. March 24 at any of the following locations:

D’Vine Wine — 934 Manitou Ave. (Spa Building), Suite 108;

Swirl Wine Bar — 717 Manitou Ave. No. 102; or

The Mona Lisa — 733 Manitou Ave.
