Once again this year, the Manitou Arts, Culture and Heritage Board is offering assistance to residents and groups needing help with preparing their 2025 MACH grant applications, MACH Board Chair Ralph Routon has announced.
Audrey Gray, executive director of Creative Alliance Manitou Springs, has been acquired by the MACH board to work with interested applicants starting with appointments in November. Gray will provide free support and guidance in navigating the MACH website, preparing budgets and writing proposals.
Gray, a well-known presence on the Manitou Springs arts scene, is a professional artist and arts administrator with experience writing grants and navigating the MACH system.
She will be available during CRANE office hours at Visit Manitou Springs (Chamber), 354 Manitou Ave., at the following times: three Monday mornings, Dec. 9-16 and Jan. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m.; and three Friday afternoons, Dec. 6-13 and Jan. 6, from noon to 2 p.m.
Those needing help in November or at other times can contact Gray to arrange an appointment. She can be reached at the CRANE office number, 719-315-5338, or at director@manitouspringscd.org using “MACH Assistance” as the subject line.
“We feel this combination of available times will give applicants sufficient chances to get 1-on-1 help and submit the best applications possible,” Routon said. “We’re very pleased to have Audrey Gray, who knows the process so well, providing this service at no charge to applicants.”
The deadline for 2025 MACH grant applications is Thursday, Jan. 9. Anyone who received a 2024 grant must submit a project completion report by Dec. 31, and it must be approved to become eligible for a 2025 grant.
