We’re already planning our April issues, and I’m pleased to report that we have a lot of great content in the pipeline.

Chances are good that you care about the Earth and want to help take care of the planet and our part of it. With Earth Day approaching on Monday, April 22, we’ll have special stories about what’s going on in our communities.
The topics will include:
● Manitou Springs’ electric trams;
● The Save Soil initiative;
● A Q&A with a local environmentalist;
● And much more — the sky is the limit!
Please send information about your Earth Day-related events to calendars@pikespeakbulletin.org at least 10 days before they’ll happen, and we’ll help you spread the word.

We’re coming up on the end of our first year.
Let’s all work together to take care of our beloved home environment and its clear sky, clean water and fertile soil.
As always, we want to help inform the community about governmental, school and arts news, along with the fun events that make this area special. One of the highlights will be the Manni Awards on Thursday, April 11, if Mother Nature doesn’t throw another major snowstorm at us.
Last but not least, we’re coming up on the end of our first year as the revitalized newspaper for the Westside, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, Lower Ute Pass and Woodland Park. (We’re doing our best to stretch our dedicated writers and photographers that far.)
So, our April coverage will also include the Bulletin’s financial report. Our thanks go to the Manitou Arts, Culture, and Heritage board for the grant, and all of our loyal subscribers, donors and advertisers.
Our publisher, Lyn Ettinger-Harwell, will work with our treasurer, Gaye Bosley-Mitchell, and board member Becca Sickbert to create a report that will include all sorts of information, charts and graphs for your edification.
